It was a pleasure to be in Berlin last month for SuperReturn International 2026 – an engaging week of discussions focused on the future of private markets.
Nuveen Private Capital co‑chaired the Private Debt Summit, with Anthony Fobel and Mattis Poetter joining Churchill Asset Management’s Ken Kencel and Gene Miao to lead this year’s discussions.
Anthony also took part in the panel ‘Can the private credit market sustain its momentum?’, where he discussed the sector’s rapid growth, the increasing media and regulatory scrutiny it faces, and how private credit is addressing these challenges. The conversation also explored how the asset class is expected to perform amid the current volatile political and economic environment.
