We were delighted to host an engaging and insightful event last week, focused on the evolving landscape of private credit investments in Japan. The day began with a warm welcome from Shinya Kita, Partner – Chief Representative, Head of Investment Japan at RBC BlueBay Asset Management Japan. Followed by Anthony Fobel, CEO, Arcmont, delivering a comprehensive overview of Arcmont’s business and sharing his perspective on the evolving dynamics of private markets.
A standout moment was the panel discussion titled “Guide to Co-Working with Advisors in Private Credit Investments”, featuring Hiroaki Saito, Director & CIO – Private Investments at AMOAI and Katsunori Takahashi, CFA, CAIA Takahashi, Senior Consultant at Russell Investments. Their perspectives on the roles played by investors, allocators, consultants and advisors offered valuable insights to those in attendance.
The event concluded with thoughtful closing remarks from Mitsuo Ozaki, Partner and Head of Sales Japan at RBC BlueBay Asset Management Japan, reinforcing the important role European Private Credit plays in Japanese investors’ portfolios.
