Our recent Nuveen Private Capital events in Australia sparked some great conversations about what’s shaping private credit today, from changing credit conditions to the rising role of private wealth. It was a pleasure to connect with colleagues from Churchill Asset Management and Nuveen, a TIAA company, to share perspectives across regions and strategies.
Karthi Mowdhgalya highlighted our continued strong deployment into high‑quality businesses and the firm’s resilient portfolio performance, even amid broader macroeconomic turbulence. He emphasised the durability of Arcmont’s approach and noted that European private credit remains well supported by deep, long‑term institutional capital.
He also contributed to a panel moderated by Andrew Yap with Dugald Marr and Randy Schwimmer on how the private credit landscape is evolving, including the implications for underwriting, deployment and portfolio construction.
